CSR Partnership

Ama Odia Parivar runs blood donation camps, supports children through school, stands beside families of children under cancer treatment, and helps households through sudden hardship — across Mumbai and Thane, entirely through volunteers. A single company can fund an entire programme for a year.

Please read this before you go further. Ama Odia Parivar is not yet registered on Form CSR-1. Under section 135 of the Companies Act and the CSR Rules, a company may only book CSR expenditure against an implementing agency that holds that registration — so a contribution to us cannot currently be counted against your CSR obligation.

We would rather tell you that on this page than after a meeting. Sponsorship, event support and employee volunteering are all still very welcome, and are described below; they simply sit under your marketing or community budget rather than your CSR one. If CSR eligibility is what you need, do write to us anyway — the registration is something we can pursue, and knowing a company is waiting for it is the best reason to.

Ways to partner

  • Fund a programme for a year — the blood donation calendar, or a group of children’s school fees. You know at the outset exactly what your money buys.
  • Sponsor a single event — one camp, one festival, one distribution. A good way to start before committing to a year.
  • Employee volunteering — your staff at a camp or a distribution drive. Costs nothing but a day, and it is the part employees remember.
  • In-kind support — books, uniforms, medical consumables, printing, transport, venue space. Often the easiest thing for a company to give and among the most useful things for us to receive.

What you receive

  • A written account of where the money went, with photographs, and the numbers behind them.
  • A utilisation certificate for the funds you gave.
  • An 80G tax receipt — once that exemption is in place. The panel above says plainly whether it is today.
  • Your logo on this page and acknowledgement at the events you fund — only if you want it. Some partners prefer to give quietly, and that is respected.

A programme in numbers

To confirm. One case study. Pick a single programme — a blood donation camp or a year of school fees — and give the money in and the outcome out: what it cost, how many people it reached, what changed. One honest, specific example persuades a CSR committee far better than four general descriptions. It needs real figures, so it cannot be written until the Society supplies them.

Talk to us

Tell us a little about your company and what you are looking for. There is no obligation, and we will tell you straight away whether we can do what you need.

Optional. Your Corporate Identity Number, or LLPIN, if you have it to hand.

A range is fine. It tells us whether to propose a camp, a programme or a year.

What happens to this. Your name, company, email and any phone number are stored on this website so somebody can answer you. None of it is published and we do not pass it on. Read our privacy policy.

To confirm. A downloadable CSR proposal (PDF) and a named partnerships contact with a direct email. Corporate CSR teams circulate a document internally before they reply; without one, an interested company has nothing to take to its committee. Both are listed in the spec and neither can be produced without the Society.
