Sending us photographs
If you took pictures at one of our events and would like them included, please get in touch. Three things make a real difference before you send them:
- Resize them first. Photographs straight off a phone are several megabytes each. Forty of them on one page makes it unusable on a phone connection — which is how most people will look at it.
- Strip the location data. Photos carry GPS coordinates recording exactly where they were taken. That matters a great deal for pictures taken at somebody’s home.
- Ask the people in them. Especially children: parental consent is required, and it needs to be on file rather than assumed. We will not publish a photograph of a child without it.
We remove any photograph on request, without asking why. Write to us and it comes down.
