Child Cancer Foundation

No Child Should Fight Cancer Alone.

Mumbai treats children with cancer from every corner of India. Families arrive from Odisha for treatment that lasts months, often with nowhere to stay, no income while they are here, and little Hindi or Marathi to get by on.

Why this matters here

A child’s treatment is only part of what a family carries. There is the travel, the months away from work, the food, the place to sleep, and a sibling left behind with relatives. Odia families arriving in Mumbai for treatment are a long way from anyone they know. That is the gap this Society sits in — not the medicine, but everything around it.

What we do

  • Visit families during treatment, in their own language
  • Help with the everyday costs that fall outside a hospital bill — travel, food, a place to stay
  • Put families in touch with each other, so nobody is doing this alone
  • Raise funds for specific children, with the family’s consent

To confirm. Replace the list above with what the Society actually does today, and add the number of children supported. Specifics persuade; general statements do not.

How you can help

Give time, give money, or tell us about a family who needs help. All three matter.

To confirm. Beneficiary stories are powerful and are also the most sensitive thing this site could publish. A child’s photograph and medical situation needs written consent from a parent, and DPDP rules on children’s data are strict. Do not publish a story without that consent on file.
